Congratulations to all of the skaters who competed at the STARSkate competition in North Battleford on January 27, 28, and 29th!! The skaters competed their Freeskate Programs as well as a spin program and a jump event!! We are very proud of all of the following skaters who represented our club so well:

Jean Norman: Swift Current - Feb 24th - 26th 2012
The skaters of the La Ronge Skating Club braved the winter storm and bad road conditions to travel all of the way to Swift Current for the Jean Norman Skating Competition held Friday February 24, Saturday February 25th, and Sunday February 26th!!! All of our skaters worked very hard in preparation for the competition ... and ... as always ... represented the La Ronge Skating Club wonderfully!!! Congratulations to the following girls:

Saskatchewan Stars on Ice is an annual Road show that skaters from around Saskatchewan take part in ... they travel to various communities around the province to entertain!! The first performance for this year was held in Swift Current on Friday February 24th at the beautiful I Plex! Three members of our club were a part of the show! Congratulations Sask First Team Member Sydney Kuppenbender and Competitive Development team members Sammi Kopeck and Jayme Woodhouse-McKenzie! Taylor Harrington was a flag bearer at the exciting event as well!
